The Turia Natural Park, declared on 13 April 2007, is included in the plain of the River Turia. With an area of 4,692 HA extends along the regions of L'horta, El Camp de Turia and Los Serranos representing a clear example of the scarce and valuable forest Mediterranean associated to the River Turia.

In addition the existence of carrasco and Mediterranean scrub pine woods, together with a good representation of the Valencian Orchard, confer a high value for its richness in terms of biodiversity and traditional values
